Prior to my consulting role, I served as a school-based and outpatient mental health psychotherapist working with adults, children and adolescents of all ages with Autism, development delays and behavioral and emotional issues, to help them manage their behaviors and improve social skills in order to fulfill their academic, work and social potential.

Previously, I worked with women who were survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking of all ages, helping them cope and eventually heal. In addition to direct services, I also managed and supervised four full-time counselor advocates who provided individual counseling and case management services.

All of the experiences described above have led me to develop a strong and broad clinical background while strengthening my passion and commitment towards helping others. I received my Bachelor of Arts from UCLA and received my Master’s in Social Work from New York University. I think that learning is a lifelong commitment and so I continue to engage in continuing education opportunities to stay current on recent research and to further my skills.
